Ali: thE ACTRESS |
Janie: tHE FREE SPIRIT |
There are a couple things you need to know about Ali. She watches an inordinate amount of television, talks about actors like she knows them personally, and she will be shocked if you don't know them by name. Ali also loves shopping, and claims to have a separate stomach for dessert. But most of all she is a wonderful human. She went to an arts focussed high school, where she studied theatre and acting. Ali will continue to pursue acting next year at Bard College, as well as, history.
Ali did the bulk of the planning for this trip, meaning that she planned a lot of day-to-day stuff, as well as, all the train reservations. She also spent a long time picking out which castle we are going to in Brussels, and even looked into how much it would be for her to purchase her own castle. Keep in mind, one of the things she does in her free time is look at houses for sale. When she was younger, you would have found Ali doodling during class instead of taking notes. She did not doodle random things, instead Ali would draw elaborate floor plans of everything from space ships to, well, castles. Both of us are huge foodies. Ali loves everything unhealthy, but desert is her favorite. In Europe, Ali will drag Janie into many stores and, of course, dessert and chocolate shops. |
You will find Janie mainly watching Friends in her free time, and she knows nothing about actors or even current news. Like Ali, Janie is a big foodie. Her favorite foods are usually asian inspired. If there are dumplings, sushi burritos, or just a simple stir fry, she loves it. When she was younger, Janie spent every summer at art camp, and during the school year, spent her weekends going to a local art school to take classes. But after the mandatory chemistry class Janie took in high school, she fell in love with chemistry. Therefore, next year she will being going to Tufts University to pursue both Chemistry and Visual Art.
When it came to planning this trip, Janie spent most of her time making the itinerary for Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels. She also made this blog. Janie spent all four years of high school as a member of Photo Journalism, and her preferred media is photography. Click the button below to look at Janie’s personal website full of her own photography. Janie is also a big fan of deserts, but has a sweet spot of coffee shops. Not only does she love coffee, coffee shops are her favorite place to work. In Europe, you will find Janie attempting to get Ali to spend less money, taking photos with both her camera and phone, and drinking lots and lots of local coffee. |
